At Travel Cars, we offer the buy-back option for any of the cars you buy from us. This option is valid for up to 24 months from the moment you purchase any of our campervans or cars.

Travel Cars NZ LTD. offers a buy-back option in every sale.
As the same name mentions, there is no obligation to resell the vehicle back to us; it is just optional, and we give that to you when you purchase one of our cars or campervans.
The buy-back option is totally free and especially good for campervans as the year is divided into two seasons: the high season (September to January) and the off-season (February to August).
Campervans are quite hard to sell in the off-season, and having this option from a reputable business can save you thousands of dollars if we compare that with any other dealer’s offer.
Small cars and station wagons can reach a normal price throughout the year. We buy them back as well, but 70% of our customers sell them themselves.
The price range is between 30% and 50%. The price will be estimated when you tell us the departure date.
Simple and easy, at Travel Cars NZ we mark a big difference against our competency; we don’t look after the km you drove during your trip, we don’t look after WOF or Registration expiration.
We don’t reduce the price if you didn’t service the car in the last year, and we are flexible if there are minor faults in the vehicle.
That could happen. We look after all our cars, and we expect to receive it the same way we sold it.
That means no accidents on the body, no mechanical problems and good-condition tyres.

Our yard is only in Auckland, but we have an online service for our customers and noncustomers, which means you can list it online at Travel Cars NZ website.

If you have been one of your customers, we can offer you other quick sale options depending on your needs and location.
While we do offer the option to sell your car to us, it’s important to note that the price you’ll receive will be slightly lower than what we offer our customers (around 20% less).
This is because we invest a lot of effort into preparing our cars for resale. However, we also strive to offer our customers a fair buyback price, especially those who have trusted us with their first New Zealand adventure.
